If you are a United States citizen then your green card is not a valid form of ID to travel to Europe. You will need your passport regardless.

The stakes are high ive heard of stories where someone in your circumstances insists heshe was informed of stories where someone in your circumstances insists heshe was informed of one thing by one thing by one immigration lawyer as well getting readmitted to germany wont be dicey and the usa.
    An immigration lawyer couldnt hurt.
