Colonia de Sacremento is a short ferry ride from Buenos Aires. On a bus from Cordoba you would have to go to Montevideo and then to Colonia. I think it would probably be better to go to Buenos Aires because you would have more options and it would not be a longer trip.
The bus to colonia did that in august and absolutely loved it.
